This research study is assessing whether an investigational drug in addition to a high-intensity statin will reduce the risk of future cardiovascular events, such as strokes and heart attacks, in people with cardiovascular disease. If qualified, you may be compensated for travel and expenses.
Qualified Participants Must:
- Be 40 years of age or older
- Have a history of a heart attack, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease
- Be willing to receive investigational drug as an injection
- Be taking a statin medication daily
