This research study assessed the prebiotic effects of a new chia ingredient on bowel habits in healthy adults. Study participation involved 3 clinic visits across 4 weeks.
Qualified participants:
- Generally healthy adults; 25 – 54 years of age
- Had some discomfort commonly experienced during bowel movements or feelings of mild to moderate constipation
- Collected 2 stool samples
- Consumed pudding every day for 3 weeks
