This research study assessed the effects of a dietary supplement containing essential amino acids on body composition and muscular strength in generally healthy adults. Study participation involved 3 clinic visits across 11 weeks.
- Generally healthy adults, 18 – 50 years of age
- Engaged in a resistance training program consisting of approximately 60-90 minutes/day of training 4 days/week, split into two upper-body and two lower-body workouts each week, for a total of 10 weeks
- Attended two three-hour visits which include clinic visit procedures at Biofortis and a muscular strength and endurance test at the Addison Park District
